Build the storefront and checkout to a speed budget.

Shopify, headless Shopify, or custom commerce on Stripe — picked for your catalog and margins, measured on conversion and revenue per session.

What we build

Six parts of a store we take to production.

Platform choice, product pages, search, subscriptions, checkout, and the tracking plan. One team, one repo.

Platform picked for your catalog

A Shopify theme, headless Shopify on Hydrogen, or custom commerce on Stripe. The choice follows catalog size, custom pricing logic, and who runs the store after launch.

Product and collection pages

Edge-cached, image-optimized, and built to a 1.5 s LCP budget on a mid-range phone.

Search and merchandising

Typo-tolerant search with synonyms, boosts, and pinned products your merchandisers edit themselves.

Subscriptions

Recurring orders with self-serve pause, skip, and swap. Failed-payment retries handled by the billing provider.

Checkout flows

Express wallets, address autocomplete, and clear error states. On Shopify we extend checkout through its supported extensibility APIs, not by forking it.

A tracking plan before launch

Standard commerce events defined, implemented, and checked against consent. No tag fires before the shopper agrees.

Where speed matters most

Give checkout its own budget.

A fast home page that hands off to a slow checkout still loses the order. We set budgets per step, test on a mid-range Android over throttled 4G, and block merges that break them.

  • Separate LCP and INP budgets for cart, shipping, payment, and confirmation.
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay offered where your provider supports them.
  • Inline validation and plain-language errors on every field.
  • Every step keyboard- and screen-reader-tested before launch.

After the click

Wire orders into the systems that ship them.

An order touches inventory, tax, payments, fulfilment, and email. We connect each one with signed, idempotent webhooks, so a retry never ships a parcel twice.

  • Inventory sync with your ERP or OMS, with stock reserved at checkout.
  • Tax calculated by Stripe Tax, Avalara, or your platform’s built-in engine.
  • Fulfilment handed to your 3PL with tracking pushed back to the customer.
  • Failed steps land in a queue your team can see and replay.

Code in your repo, store in your account

We moved off a theme nobody could change. Our merchandisers run collections and promotions themselves now, and checkout keeps up on a phone.

Questions

What buyers ask us first.

Shopify, headless, or custom?
A Shopify theme fits most catalogs and is the cheapest to run. Headless on Hydrogen fits brands that need a custom front end on Shopify’s back office. Custom on Stripe fits unusual pricing, B2B rules, or marketplaces. We recommend one in writing after discovery.
How long does a storefront build take?
A theme build is shorter than a headless or custom one, and integrations often set the pace. You get a dated plan after a one- to two-week discovery, with a working preview store early on.
Can you move us off Magento or WooCommerce?
Yes. Products, customers, and order history move with a reviewed redirect map so search traffic follows. Our Migration & Replatform service covers the cutover in detail.
Who owns the store and the code?
You do. The store, payment accounts, and repository are in your name. We work inside them and hand over documentation at launch.
How is it priced?
A defined build is quoted as a fixed scope after discovery. Ongoing improvements run as a monthly retainer. Platform and app fees are paid by you directly, at cost.
